Mandatory NSTS Testing Requirements
Under the Sustainable Use Directive (SUD), NSTS testing for all boom sprayers will become mandatory by 26 November 2016. Initially, sprayers must be retested every five years, but from 2020 onwards, the retesting frequency will increase to every three years. This directive is mandatory throughout the EU, ensuring uniform standards for sprayer safety and environmental protection.
